This parish is located 10 km from the municipal capital. Its main attraction is the cattle raising along with small holder farming that is in decline, now the enclosure that has taken place in the area has increased the amount of land suitable for cultivation. There are wonderful views from its peaks, especially Mount Collado.
There are ancient paved roads and a mediaeval bridge that crosses the River Tea.
